In the 1st Session 1 panel, the Polar Research Center of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies presented research, such as the enactment and evaluation of basic laws on social changes and polar activities due to the expansion of development in the Russian Arctic, under the theme of 'Russian Arctic Development and Community Change'. In the second panel, the Environmental Science Research Institute presented the recent deteriorating research trends on the Arctic atmosphere under the theme of 'The latest Arctic atmospheric research trends'. In the 2nd Session 3 panel, the Korea-Siberia Center of Pai Chai University reviewed the current status of Korea's Arctic policy under the theme of 'The Geopolitical Environment of the Arctic and Korea's Arctic Policy'. Finally, in the 2nd Session 4 panel, the EU Research Institute of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies on 'Europe's Arctic Strategies and Policies', presented Europe's position for expanding military activities in the Arctic and resolving conflicts related to the Arctic region.
