As the fifth event of the New Northern Policy Forum, a seminar was held under the theme of 'Eurasia and Korea's New Northern Policy, Present and Future' with the support of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. This academic seminar, held on December 17 (Fri), in the international conference room on the 2nd basement floor of the main building of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, was held in the first session, 'Russia's renewable energy policy and cooperation with Korea' and the second session, 'Central Asia and Korea, In the third session that followed, a roundtable was held under the theme of 'The present and future of the New Northern Policy'. ’

The Russian Research Center held a seminar where experts from Central Asia and Russia discussed the changes in the cooperative environment and pending issues in the economy, commerce, industry, and energy of major countries in the New Northern Economic Area. In the era of zero carbon represented by the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, an agenda for cooperation between countries in Eurasia and cooperation with Korea was discovered, and in-depth discussions were held on the present and future of the New Northern Policy.
