Russia Institute selects 2022 Korea-Russia think tank network construction project
Our school's Russia Research Institute (Director: Pyo Sang-yong) was finally selected for the '2022 Korea-Russia Think Tank Network Construction' project organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this year.
The project will hold a total of three academic conferences in December this year to promote exchanges and consultations between major think tanks in the two countries. It will hold academic seminars with the Moscow University of International Relations (MGIMO), Russia's leading think tank, the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), and academic seminars with the Institute of World Economic and International Studies (IMEMO) under the Russian Academy of Sciences. Through academic conferences, experts from Korea and Russia in various fields will devise ways to promote cooperation between the two countries through detailed discussions on agenda items in each field such as diplomacy, international security, and the global economy.
Accordingly, the Russian Research Institute of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies is working with local institutions to carry out the '2022 Korea-Russia Think Tank Network Construction Project' commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in December.
