The Institute of Russian Studies (Director: Sang-Yong Pyo) under the Humanities Korea Plus (HK+) Research Project has continuously fostered the next generation of scholars through a series of humanities lectures as part of its Regional Humanities Center initiative.

As part of the 2025 “Humanities Walk” program, the Department of Russian at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies visited the Institute of Russian Studies. This marked the third iteration of the program since 2023. Organized by HK Research Professor Seung-Do Ra, the event included an introduction to the Institute of Russian Studies and a book talk on How War Is Remembered by Prof. Jun-Seo Song, recently published by the Institute. Following the lecture, participating students from the Department of Russian Studies engaged in an open dialogue with faculty members of the Institute. The program concluded with a tour of the Global Campus by students from the Seoul Campus.
